It is widely thought that someone who drinks alcohol on a regular basis is fairly unhealthy and will most likely have a shorter life because of it. Employees struggling with stress and back pain are not good for business. The downsides for the employee are quite clear-cut but for a business it is a little more complicated.
A stressed employee is typically less productive and is much more likely to miss work for health reasons. Businesses located in the United States, which doesn’t have full national healthcare might be forced to provide more expensive health insurance because their employees have more health issues because of physical stress caused by uncomfortable business office furniture.
The lesson here is clear. Companies should realize that purchasing some high quality glass office desks or glass office tables, for example, will pay for itself in the long run.
