LED TV Brackets – Ultra slim fit for the best look

Now we have all seen the amazing new ranges of LED TVs both with 2D and 3D picture capability. I think it is fair to say that we’re suitably impressed both with the amazing picture quality and the almost unreal slimness of the screen.   This stunning combination is a real winner with consumers but having spent fortunes on the TV, we should be able to do better than to house it in a stylistically challenged 1980′s TV cabinet.  The TVs usually come with a stand but frankly after spending that much on a TV I would want to know it is not going to fall over and smash into a thousand pieces if given a slight nudge.  Also these TVs are not small are they? Once you have fitted it onto the table you realise that there is not actually room for you and the wife on the sofa anymore and accessing the kitchen now requires superhuman abilities in either high jumping or limbo dancing. So how do you get it safely mounted so it still looks fantastic and does not take up half your house or flat?

GET A WALL MOUNTED TV BRACKET SILLY!

There are lots of TV brackets on the market but in my opinion the ordinary TV bracket fails to do justice to the ultra slim design, often setting your beautiful new LED TV 50 or 60 or even 100mm or more off the wall.

Clearly to get the best look on the wall you need a TV bracket that’s not only easy to install and robust (after all LED TVs are expensive!) but one where you can genuinely mount it super close to the wall so it gives that “hanging picture” look.

I have used the Worlds slimmest low profile LED TV bracket.  Model ITB344 sets the TV just 9mm off the wall – closer to the wall than any other bracket I know about and it comes complete with everything to fit the TV to the bracket and fit the LED TV bracket to the wall.  This ultra close 9mm off the wall fitting requires your LED TV to use cables and leads accessed from the sides or bottom of the screen and all Samsung LED TVs and recent Sharp LED TVs have this facility as do many from Sony, LG and many others too.  But do check this before you buy your TV or bracket unless you want to take a chisel to the plaster board behind your TV.

If you did not check first and the 9mm model is too close, and you do not fancy hacking your wall to pieces, there are still some very good options such as the ITB400 bracket that sets the TV just 20mm off the wall and is designed to hold all LED TVs right up to 55″.  This bracket is supplied with all fittings and fixings as well as additional spacers so you can optimise the gap between the TV and the wall.
